One of the reasons I love Hopelynd is because they are truly inclusive and welcoming of everyone, including people with disabilities. Their photographers genuinely understand disability and the unique needs of each client. I use a power wheelchair and a robotic arm, but I still wanted my photography session to feel just like anyone else's. I didn't want to be stuck in one spot and they completely understood that. They became so creative with poses and movement and they made me feel valued, seen and celebrated as a client. From start to finish, they are incredibly supportive and honestly, by the end of the session they feel more like friends. Their energy is exactly what you want during a shoot. Uplifting, encouraging and fun. I would absolutely recommend booking a session with Hopelynd.

I am writing to share my full support for Hopelynd and to express how deeply their inclusive art show has impacted my autistic son. His time as a Hopelynd artist was truly life-changing for him.

For the first time, he had a safe, welcoming space where he felt understood and celebrated for who he is. Hopelynd gave him the confidence to share his art proudly. He came home filled with excitement, talking about what he created and the new friends he had made. Those connections meant everything to him. A sense of belonging that day went along way.

This is why I am so grateful for the opportunity to support Hopelynd in bringing a disability-inclusive art weekend to Grand Rapids. A weekend like this would give children and adults with disabilities a chance to explore their creativity freely, learn new artistic techniques, and feel the joy of being part of a community that embraces them fully.
