Emerge takes the creativity of Hopelynd's disability community and puts it directly in front of people who may not otherwise encounter it. Whether it's a month-long gallery at a local coffee shop or a booth at a major arts event — Emerge creates real opportunities for artists with disabilities to show, sell, and be seen.
Every Emerge looks a little different. Some feature one or two artists in a curated gallery setting. Others are busy market-style events where multiple artists show their work side by side. What stays constant is the mission — disability is not a barrier to creativity, and these artists deserve a platform.
Hopelynd is taking over the walls at 317 Coffee in Hudsonville for the entire month of July — featuring original artwork from 1–2 Hopelynd artists with disabilities. Come in, grab a coffee, and experience the work.
All of July 2026
Hopelynd will have a table at the Merchants and Makers event during Art Prize week in Grand Rapids. Artists will show and sell their original work on consignment — artwork, jewelry, magnets, photography, and more.

Emerge uses a consignment model — Hopelynd handles the event, the booth, and the sales process. You bring your work, set your prices, and receive your share after the event. No booth fee. No upfront cost.
Emerge happens throughout the year in different formats and locations. Sign up to be notified when new activations are announced — whether you want to attend, purchase art, or register as an artist.
