I am writing to share my full support for Hopelynd and to express how deeply their inclusive art show has impacted my autistic son.
In her own words
His time as a Hopelynd artist was truly life-changing for him. For the first time, he had a safe, welcoming space where he felt understood and celebrated for who he is. Hopelynd gave him the confidence to share his art proudly.

He came home filled with excitement, talking about what he created and the new friends he had made. Those connections meant everything to him. A sense of belonging that day went a long way.
This is why I am so grateful for the opportunity to support Hopelynd in bringing a disability-inclusive art weekend to Grand Rapids. A weekend like this would give children and adults with disabilities a chance to explore their creativity freely, learn new artistic techniques, and feel the joy of being part of a community that embraces them fully.
