This fall, Hopelynd had the honor of hosting pop up family mini sessions in partnership with the Children’s Healing Center of West Michigan. These sessions were created to give families a relaxed, joyful photo experience while celebrating the strength, love, and resilience that defines this incredible community.

What Is the Children’s Healing Center?

The Children’s Healing Center of West Michigan is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children with weakened immune systems and other complex medical conditions. They provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where kids can play, learn, and connect with others without fear of illness. For many families, the Center becomes a second home. It is a place where children are understood, supported, and celebrated exactly as they are.

Creating a Meaningful Photo Experience

For the Fall Family Photoshoot, Hopelynd offered pop up mini sessions designed specifically with these families in mind. We focused on creating a space that felt calm, flexible, and fun. No rushing, no pressure. Just genuine moments together.

Working with children of all abilities is something we deeply value, and it was important that every family felt comfortable and seen throughout the experience. From playful interactions to gentle guidance, the goal was to make the session enjoyable for both kids and parents while capturing authentic connections.
